With Mobilessence we created a quick and easy insight into what was normally seen as a complex event. Users really like the fact that they now always have access to all events, locations, times, and additional information via a smartphone. Thanks to the user-friendly content management system we were able to build a nice app in less than three weeks time.

The final product turned out great. It allowed us to incorporate other aspects that can't be done in a packet—for example it helped drive social media interaction through the twitter section. We could update the "news" section throughout the weekend and provide any last minute materials without rushing to the printer and re-stuffing in 150+ folders. I am looking forward to the push notifications feature for our second event. Support was excellent—constant, timely, and super helpful!

The MIT Sloan School of Management admissions office needed an app for our annual admitted student weekend.  We host between 150-200 students on campus (once in February and once in April) for two days of events.  The events are packed with panels, mock classes, receptions, and many more activities.  In the past we have printed agendas, attendees lists, bios, etc. and handed out in a packet upon arrival.  

This year we wanted to be sustainable and innovative in interacting our attendees.

I researched many different competitors, even one that another office at MIT Sloan had used. There are a few reasons I chose Mobilessence.  Most importantly was the customer service and access to someone who could support me through the entire process.  If you are creating an app for the first time your questions will be endless and it can seem quite daunting.  From the first day I reached out to Mobilessence up to the day of my event, the client support was fantastic.  I was receiving constant and instant support to help me make sure our app was user friendly and contained all the information our admitted students would need.  Other reasons were the features offered aligned with our needs, a user friendly CMS and it fit into our budget.

MIT over de open dagen app

Het zit er weer op, de Open dag. Was een groot succes met meer dan 3400 scholieren en dus in totaal zo’n 8500 bezoekers op de campus. In de enquête geeft tot dusverre zo’n 32 % aan de app gezien te hebben. Dat zou betekenen dat hij circa 1000 keer is gedownload. Verder was men tevreden over de app: op het vlak van overzichtelijkheid, informatie en duidelijkheid scoorde hij iets meer dan een 8.

With Mobilessence we could create a real usefull app for our Festival goers. The proof was in the statistics and beyond that since numbers in views were way over our expectations. This is what we care about the most, with this app we have taken a big step coming from the printed broschure age.
